Harry Gassen founded Topper World in Metairie, LA in 1974. Initially, the inventory of camper tops and light truck accessories was mostly cosigned goods from friendly manufacturers. In 1978, Topper World opened its Gretna location. Over the years dozens of competitors have come and gone but Topper World's commitment to quality and service has secured its prominence in the Greater New Orleans market.

Today this family owned and operated business serves the entire New Orleans Metro area and enjoys a regional and national reputation.

We are an authorized dealer/distributor for A.R.E. and a host of other prominent manufacturers within the light truck accessory industry.
